Paola was born and raised in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Growing up in Mexico, she was an active member of her local church and nursing home , as well as participating in community events. While in high school, she founded a women’s footwear company with handmade designs made by local artisan cobblers in Merida. After graduating, she moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to work as an Au Pair for a year and remained in the city to pursue her undergraduate degree. She received an Associate Degree in Business Management from the Community College of Allegheny County in 2019 and is currently enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a dual degree in Marketing and Business Information Systems.
